Becca learned to knit in a bar in Chapel Hill in 2006 shortly after moving to North Carolina. Drinking aside, she finally discovered how to get her long cast on stitches off the needle. She was so happy. The scarf was ugly, but the possibilities for new projects were endless. Every time she knits in public, friends and strangers alike tell her they’d love to buy her projects when she finishes them.
Where’d the name come from? It’s a pipe dream – owning a sheep farm somewhere in the mountains. Becca and her husband would love to one day raise sheep to be shorn and turned into yarn that she can spin, dye, and sell.
Check out the Samples page for some of the knitting completed since we opened in 2006.
